A cat sitter is a person who visits your home to feed, care and play with your cat whilst you are away. It's an ideal alternative to a cattery which can be very stressful to some cats. Cats are much happier staying where they feel safe and familiar, surrounded by the smells and sounds they know. o good for security reasons as i take in mail, can open/close curtains, water plants and i even drive an unmarked car! I can even have essentials waiting for your return. Text messages/emails can be sent as often as requested...including daily...for your peace of mind. Why I became a Cat sitter

The idea for me to set up my own business as a cat sitter stems back to when my Dad and his wife moved away from us and so I had to search myself for someone to feed my lot when we are away. I didn’t want to leave them in a cattery but our nearest cat sitter was a long distance away and the local pet sitters were more dog people. As I’ve always adored cats I thought it a brilliant business opportunity as there must be other cat owners with the same problem. So 15 years later here I am with a large customer base and have had the privilege of visiting a large number of cats; from tiny kittens to OAP’s (my oldest being 22 years young!). I have visited very very shy cats where I’ve had to work my socks off to get them confident enough to come to me and the other end of the scale, very bold cats that plonked themselves on my lap at the consultation! I’ve had to deal with the sadness of receiving emails/calls telling me a cat has passed away but then the excitement of those owners getting back in touch as they’ve adopted another cat. Each cat I visit has their very own personality and I’ve found none the same. One thing they all do the same is recognise me as the food and fuss lady, so once they’ve got to know me they happily greet me at the door which is a wonderful feeling!

Pinch & punch, it's 1st of the month! It's September!! 😳 Where has this year gone???

It's time for me to give you all plenty of notice of my fee increase from 1st January 2027. I've taken in all of your comments saying I don't charge enough etc, the cost of keeping my car on the road (the cost of fuel!!😫) but also my nearly 20 years experience as a cat sitter.

Thank you to everyone who keeps supporting my little business 🫶 Of course if the price increase means you need to cancel a booking with me, please let me know. Just message saying you need to cancel, no questions asked 😊
