Last Friday, we said goodbye to our lovely Iva. 🤍
Iva came into our lives during a difficult chapter in hers, while recovering from surgery for a mammary tumour. From then on, we had the privilege of getting to know her, caring for her, and being part of her journey. After another procedure and a lot of love and determination, she was able to enjoy several more happy and comfortable months with her family.
Sadly, more recently, Iva began to develop new health problems and changes that were increasingly affecting her comfort and quality of life. Despite everyone’s best efforts, it became clear that we could no longer give her the quality of life she deserved, and the heartbreaking decision was made to peacefully let her go.
Iva was such a special girl — affectionate, full of character, and very much loved by everyone who had the pleasure of looking after her.
We will remember that lovely face, head bumps and the way she somehow managed to make all of us fall a little bit in love with her.
Our thoughts are especially with her family, who loved her enormously and did everything they could for her. We know how deeply she will be missed.
Sleep peacefully, beautiful Iva. You are very loved 🌈🐾🤍
