Caturday with Bartie 🐾

While some of our cats are ready to greet the day with confidence, Bartie prefers a much gentler start to his mornings.

After breakfast is served, you'll often find this striking ginger boy quietly watching the world from a cosy spot, taking in all the sights and sounds around him. As he settles into the daily routine, Bartie begins to feel a little braver.

Every day, we see small but meaningful steps from Bartie. A little more confidence, a little more curiosity, and a growing willingness to explore his surroundings. These quiet victories may seem small, but for a sensitive boy like Bartie, they're something to celebrate.

His mornings remind us that confidence doesn't always arrive in big leaps; sometimes it comes one careful paw-step at a time. 🧡

FREE Community Outreach Veterinary Clinic 🐾

We're pleased to be offering a FREE veterinary clinic at Salvation Army Stroud for members of our community and their pets.

📍 Location: Salvation Army Stroud
📅 Tuesday 30th June
⏰ 10:00am – 12:30pm

✅ No appointment necessary
✅ Just turn up during clinic hours
✅ Free veterinary care and advice

If your pet needs a health check, treatment, or you have concerns you'd like to discuss with a vet, we're here to help.

🌟registration sheets have been printed
🌟rosette logos have been printed and just need assembling
🌟prizes have arrived
🌟risk assessments completed
🌟an excellent photographer will be there!
🌟a skilled helper will be with us this year to keep things going smoothly.

What makes our show different?
🐾we do not take any profit from this event it all goes straight to The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home - CDCH
🐾welfare is our key priority with 24/7 access to cool water and bowls and plenty of shade (or shelter depending on British weather 🌦)
🐾we welcome breeds of all shapes, sizes and history
🐾we have unique offers avalible on the day
🐾everyone gets a chance to bring something home.

We are hoping it will be dry ☀️ but still cool 😎

🐶✨ Get Ready for a Pawsome Day Out! ✨🐶

We’re so excited to invite you to our fun Dog Show on Saturday 20th June from 11am–2pm at Leaf & Ground, Dursley in Dursley 🐾

Whether your dog is the prettiest girl, the most handsome boy, a golden oldie or simply deserves their moment in the spotlight, we’d love to see you there! Dog show classes are just £2 per class and can be entered on the day.

Alongside the dog show, there’ll also be:

🛍 Pet shop
🧁 Cakes & refreshments
