Today’s PitPat Friendly™ visit was an absolute delight as we spent time with the wonderful team in Shaw, Oldham! 🧡

Established in 2004 on the site of an earlier veterinary surgery, Briar Dawn has been caring for local pets and their families for over two decades, building a reputation for compassionate care and a genuine love of animals. 🩺

We were treated to an extra-special welcome from not one, not two, but SEVEN gorgeous staff puppies! 🐾

Seven adorable little personalities, plenty of puppy cuddles and a team of genuinely lovely people who made our visit such a pleasure! 👌🏻

We’re absolutely delighted that Briar Dawn Vets is a PitPat Friendly™ Practice, helping their youngest patients start their adventures on the right paw! 🐶

As part of our PitPat Friendly™ Puppy Scheme, the practice is now offering FREE PitPat Activity Monitors to their puppy patients, helping pet parents understand their growing puppy’s daily activity, celebrate milestones and encourage healthy habits from the very beginning. 🐕

It’s visits like these that remind us why we love working alongside our veterinary community. Behind every practice is a dedicated team who genuinely care about the animals and families they support. 👏🏻

A huge thank you to Karis and everyone at Briar Dawn Vets for such a warm welcome, wonderful company and, of course, all those irresistible puppy faces! 🫶🏻

Lyndsey’s lovely Labradors are a perfect example of why one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to canine activity! 🧡

Despite sharing the same daily walks, their PitPat Activity Monitors reveal just how differently each dog moves throughout the day. 🐕🐕🐕🐕‍🦺

Every dog is an individual, and understanding their activity is an important part of supporting their health, fitness and wellbeing. 🩺

Because it’s not just about how far they walk… it’s about the bigger picture! 📈

🐾 Lyndsey’s Labrador gang! 🐾

They all go on the same walks every day, but their PitPat monitors tell a very different story! 😂

Activity levels range from 70 minutes to a whopping 360 minutes! 🐶💚

Just goes to show… every dog is different! 🐾 PitPat helps us see how active our pets really are and can help make sure they’re getting the right amount of exercise for them.

Such a lovely day spent with the brilliant team at Smethwick, their wonderful clients and, of course, plenty of gorgeous four-legged patients! 🧡

There was so much fun, conversation and engagement throughout the day — and we loved meeting pets who were already proudly wearing their PitPats, as well as introducing lots of new faces to PitPat and the benefits of keeping a closer eye on their dog’s activity, weight and overall wellbeing. 🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, ask questions and get involved, and to the amazing Smethwick team and partners for making us feel so welcome. 🩺

Lovely clients. Amazing staff. Happy pets. A pretty perfect Sunday! 👌🏻

A very warm PitPat Friendly™️ welcome to Sore Paws Vets!
We’re delighted to welcome this amazing team to our growing PitPat Friendly™️ community! 🧡

Based at Cobblers Hall, Sore Paws is an established local practice caring for dogs, cats and other small pets — and they’re taking preventative healthcare another step forward by setting up a designated nurse-led clinic, where PitPat will be proudly showcased as part of their proactive approach to pet health and wellbeing. 🩺

Veterinary nurses are perfectly placed to support pet parents with those important ongoing conversations around weight, activity, exercise and healthy lifestyle choices, and PitPat Friendly™️ gives both teams and clients another way to turn those conversations into everyday action.🐾

We’re really looking forward to supporting the Sore Paws team as they bring their new clinic to life and help even more pets benefit from proactive, nurse-led care. 🫶🏻

We’re delighted to welcome Brookfield Veterinary Practice Ltd in Ledbury, Herefordshire, to our growing community of PitPat Friendly™ veterinary practices!
Brookfield’s story stretches back more than 50 years, beginning in 1970 when the practice was founded by Norman White as a mixed animal practice. It later became dedicated to small animal care, and today remains a proudly independent, family-run Herefordshire veterinary practice, led by Chris and Victoria Darke. 🧡

The Brookfield family expanded into Ledbury in 2016 with the acquisition of Argus Vets, before moving the Ledbury team into their purpose-built premises at The Nook, Hereford Road in August 2021.🩺

And they have some rather impressive credentials too! Brookfield is an RCVS Practice Standards Scheme member, has achieved the RCVS Client Care Award, and its Ledbury practice is also a Gold accredited Cat Friendly Clinic and has achieved a Rabbit Friendly Clinic Award. 😻

With a strong focus on preventative healthcare, nurse-led support and giving puppies and kittens a great start, they’re a brilliant fit for what being PitPat Friendly™ is all about.
We’re looking forward to working with the Brookfield Ledbury team and helping even more pet parents take a proactive approach to their pets’ health, weight, activity and wellbeing with PitPat. 🐾

A Virtual Visit to Highcroft Veterinary Centre! 🐾💻

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming the teams at Highcroft Veterinary Centre to their PitPat Friendly™ Virtual Lunch & Learn — with colleagues from their Keynsham and Longwell Green centres able to join us! 🧡

Highcroft has some wonderful veterinary heritage behind its name. The wider Highcroft story in Bristol stretches back to the early 1980s, developing from its roots as a mixed practice into the extensive small-animal veterinary group it is today.
That commitment to developing veterinary care and its teams makes Highcroft a perfect fit for our PitPat Friendly™️ community.🩺

It is also a great example of exactly why our virtual PitPat Friendly™ Lunch & Learns work so well. By joining remotely, we were able to bring teams from Longwell Green and Keynsham together in one combined session, giving more colleagues the opportunity to learn, enjoy lunch and ask questions to understand how PitPat Friendly™ can support proactive and preventative conversations with pet parents.🐾

Virtual really doesn’t have to mean less personal — it can actually mean more inclusive, allowing different branches and larger teams to get involved together when an in-person visit simply wouldn’t make that possible. 🤝

A huge thank you to the teams at Longwell Green and Keynsham for joining us today, and to the wider Highcroft Veterinary Group for being part of the PitPat Friendly™ community, allowing even more puppies and their parents to benefit from objective monitoring for FREE.🐶

A very warm welcome to The Green Veterinary Surgery, Skelton — now a PitPat Friendly™ Practice. 🐾
We’re delighted to welcome Martin Squires and his team at The Green Veterinary Surgery into our growing PitPat Friendly™ community. 🧡

Martin has been at the heart of this independent Cumbrian practice for many years, building a veterinary service firmly rooted in its local community. From much-loved family pets to horses and farm animals, The Green Veterinary Surgery has a long-standing tradition of providing personal, practical veterinary care to animals across Skelton and the surrounding area. 🩺

As a practice that also supports the next generation of the profession through veterinary and veterinary nursing training, there’s a lovely synergy between their approach and what PitPat Friendly™ is all about — supporting teams, educating owners and encouraging proactive, preventative care throughout a pet’s life. 🐾

We’re really looking forward to working alongside Martin and the whole team, giving them plenty of support (and hopefully plenty of fun!) as they introduce PitPat to their patients and clients. 🫶🏻
