Lulu🩷

Yesterday I got to meet Lulu, a sweet old spaniel who does whatever she feels like and insists on going up to bed early even after napping all day. Sadly age is taking over and she's slowing down now, hopefully she still has lots of time left with her humans.

Why don't we get long enough with these wonderful animals? 💔

Freya 💜

An wonderful elderly rescue from abroad in a horrific condition, landed on her feet in the most amazing home where she got to live out her days getting to be the queen she was until the very end.

I took Freya out with my dog Lexi for one final walk and decided to take my camera to get some photos for her owners but Freya was always far too interested in what snacks I had in my pocket to even attempt to take some photos of her so I set up my tripod and jumped in the photos with her. She's one of the reasons I set up this page 💜

Ida 💜
A few photos of lovely Ida who got to have her photoshoot after lots of postponing due to the rain.
I've known Ida for years as her mum used to be a dog walker.
She's now 11 years old and has sadly been diagnosed with DM, a truly horrible disease that can be prevented if all breeders were responsible and carried out genetic testing before producing litters, Ida is one of many dogs that I know who have had it and it's horrible to see them decline so rapidly. She also has bleeds behind her eyes causing some loss of sight, so she needs lots of guidance from her mum.
Thankfully she's still doing really well despite her health issues, she's got some wheels to help her get about and is on medication to keep her comfortable.
