Dougie • Lexi • Oakley 🐾

💛 Dougie came in for his groom today and has been fully teddy‑fied. Super soft, fluffy, and absolutely gorgeous!
💙 Lexi popped in for a lovely bath and dry to get her sparkling for her show next week. Good luck Lexi! 🤞
🧡 Oakley started his Puppy Package with the first half of his Gentle Start session. At just 5 months old he was a whirlwind of puppy energy! He wasn't keen on the dryer so we did some desensitisation work - he's such a cutie!

✂️ Groomer’s Note: We did a little dryer desensitisation for Oakley today. Keeping it running while he played freely around the salon helps to build confidence at their own pace. The key principle of early desensitisation is pairing the scary thing with freedom, fun, and zero pressure, and that’s exactly what he got. 🩷

Arianwen • Dilys 🐾

🩷 Ari and Dilys came in together today for their grooms and are the loveliest little duo. They did everything side‑by‑side from the bath and dry, to being groomed, always checking in on each other. They’re such gentle, affectionate girls, and I got plenty of cuddles afterwards which I absolutely loved.

🐾 Acer • Loki

🤎 Acer came in today and did brilliantly. He’s still a little unsure of the grooming process, but being young he’s getting braver every visit, especially with standing on the different surfaces. He wasn’t quite ready to pose standing for his photo, but he tried his best!
💚 Loki is my mum’s dog and visited all the way from Cambridge for his groom today. He can be a little unsure at first, but he settled beautifully with calm handling and my mum by his side as the Bark & Bubble assistant!

Lando • Buzz • Fidget • Woody 🐾

🧡 Lando had his bath, dry, and nail trim today and was so brave throughout. He left the salon super shiny and proud of himself.
🩵 Buzz bounded into the salon full of Labrador joy for his deshed. He left a lot lighter!
❤️ Fidget was also in for her deshed and did brilliantly. Lots of undercoat removed and she’s feeling fresh and comfortable.
💚 Woody came in for his regular groom. He’s looking fabulous and will soon be back off travelling the country again.

✂️ Groomer’s Note: A good deshed isn’t just about coat appearance, it keeps skin healthy, reduces irritation, and helps dogs feel cooler and more comfortable.

Maple • Fudge • Lulu • Cassie 🐾

💛 Maple finished her Puppy Package today with her very first full groom. She was such a little superstar and so brave! What a cutie.
🤎 Fudge popped in for his nail trim and did brilliantly. He’s gearing up for his Puppy Package soon and he’s just the loveliest boy.
❤️ Lulu came in for her regular groom and was so relaxed she fell asleep on the table mid groom. Such a beautiful girl.
🧡 Cassie visited for her regular bath and dry. So much coat came out, she’s gone home feeling fresh, clean, and a whole lot lighter. A gentle soul through and through.

🌎 International Dog Day: Today we celebrate our wonderful companions. Give your dog an extra treat, cuddle, or moment of joy, they deserve it!

Shaking Tuesday! 💛
A guaranteed mood boosting video! 🙂

❓️Did you know....dogs shake for so many reasons. To dry off, to release and let go of tension and stress, to reset after excitement, and sometimes simply because it feels good. It’s their cosy, comforting reset button, and it’s one of my favourite things to see after a bath or groom.

Nora • Sonny 🐾

🩷 Nora came in for her deshed and did brilliantly. This is her second visit, and we’ve really found our rhythm now. She’s more comfortable with me, and I understand what she likes and dislikes. She left feeling super soft and fluffy.
💛 Sonny popped in for his nail trim. Last time we needed a little extra help from his people to get all his nails done, but they’ve been doing some great work at home. Today he managed his whole nail trim calmly and confidently with just me. Such excellent progress!

🙂 Happy Moment: Sonny came running into the salon, tail going, so excited to see me. The more I work with the same dogs, the more we get to know each other, and it’s so lovely when they’re genuinely happy to come in 🩷

Costa & Cody 🐾

These two mischievous, bouncy brothers came in for their regular grooms today and were full of energy!

🤎 Costa is still a little nervous, so he went first and did brilliantly. Such a brave boy.
💛 Cody takes the whole process in his stride and was his usual chilled self.

Once they were finished, the chaos switch flipped. They had a full on zoomies, then both launched themselves into the paddling pool! 🤣🤦‍♀️
