Hello dog lovers— I have created a fundraiser to help me fund Barneys (my foster dog) medical costs.

After a tough start, he's making progress thanks to pain and behaviour medication, but still has a long training journey ahead of him!

What a fantastic walk up Caerphilly mountain with Milo, Harley and Poppadom 💚 We practiced recall, Milo did some beautiful loose leash walking, Harley enjoyed being around other dogs and Poppadom only screamed at one person!

You may see just a normal spaniel, just seeing a spaniel! But I see a Barney who has spent months struggling while we tried to make him feel better :(
It is finally starting to work! With a full sedated groom to get rid of all the Mattes, and the correct pain medication, he finally is able to start doing spaniel behaviours 💚💚💚

Look at Honey go! She is learning that moving away from dogs is a safe and positive option 💚

We believe that while honey was used for breeding, before she was rescued by and her wonderful forever home, she was forced into alot of unpleasent interactions with other dogs. Because she believes that being near a dog will mean she HAS to Interact with them, she became reactive to keep them away.

But with the help of her owners and the stooge dog Salmon 🍣, she is slowly realising that she is safe, that she can choose to disengage, and that we won't let any unwanted dogs bother her ever again 💚

Why does Kiki wear a muzzle?

Because 3 years ago, when she first joined our home, she was reactive and aggressive to humans and dogs!

After 3 years of gentle, kind and focused training, she is now able to happily and joyfully meet new people. She can greet new dogs, ignore the ones she doesn't like, and play well with the ones that match her play style!

But even with how far she has come, there is no harm in playing it safe and popping her muzzle on! She is a big tough looking bully breed mix, and they are often judged harsher than other breeds.

As her owner and guardian, it's my responsibility to keep her safe in this world, and a muzzle is one way that I do that 💚
