‼️ Block bookings ‼️

Yesss it’s that time again people to pop your name down for block bookings for 2027 🫣😆

Last year I wasn’t as on it as the year before which meant I lost a few customers so this year we are making sure we’ve got everyone on the list and secured in place for 2027.

The ones who know the score comment or message me your preferred days/times and how many weeks between grooms ✍️

The people who don’t know how it works, basically you send over your preferred days and times and I get every appointment for 2027 booked into the diary so you have an appointment ready, I always say it’s absolutely fine to swap and change when the time comes if you’ve got a holiday etc. I don’t expect people to know everything right now but it gives myself and you guys a plan in place to know when your dogs groom is up 😆

Quick update guys!! So this week is clearly very hot so I will be taking each day, day by day and also the afternoons is the hottest in my salon so there is a potential that I will have to reschedule some of my afternoon dogs. I am on my own this week with no staff so I’m limited to what I can get done 🐾🥵

☀️🐾 HOT WEATHER WARNING FOR DOG OWNERS 🐾☀️

I have decided to close the shop tomorrow due to it being another day in the 30’s. I was in today and it was too hot for dogs to be out in it and on the table with the dryers and warm salon. My plan for Wednesday is to get everyone in early AM and work till 1/2 latest as it’s a little cooler on Wednesday. This is all purely for the safely of your animals as their welfare is my main priority! I won’t take my own dogs in the car and into my salon in high temp, so I don’t expect you guys to!
It’s only right being a dog lover/ in the pet industry that I pop some pointers in to keep your dogs comfortable and safe in the heat;

With the warmer weather coming in, please remember that heat can become extremely dangerous for our dogs very quickly. Unlike us, dogs can’t regulate their temperature as easily and overheating can lead to serious heatstroke. ❤️‍🩹

Here are a few simple ways to help keep your pups safe and comfortable in the heat:

💧 Always provide fresh, cold water
🌳 Make sure they have access to shaded, cool areas
🚫 Avoid walking during the hottest parts of the day
🌅 Stick to early morning or later evening walks
🔥 Check pavements before walks — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
🧊 Cooling mats, frozen treats & damp towels can help keep them cool

Please keep an extra eye on flat-faced breeds, older dogs, puppies, and thick-coated breeds as they can struggle even more in hot temperatures.

Signs of overheating can include:
⚠️ Excessive panting
⚠️ Drooling
⚠️ Lethargy
⚠️ Vomiting
⚠️ Difficulty breathing

This is Buzz who doesn’t get enough credit, he is an absolute gem 💎. He walks in no problem, gets groomed no problem and walks out as if nothing has happened 🤣 he loves a fuss and he especially loves playing with the other dogs (especially males 😉)
