It's about chasing the floof I'm blowing around the salon (when I really should be cleaning it up! 😂💨).

It's about recognising when legs are getting tired and letting you lie down and relax while you enjoy your spa day. 🛁💤

It's about patience, kindness, listening to what each dog needs and letting them be themselves. Some want to play, some want cuddles, and some just want a little rest.

Because every dog is different, and I believe every one of them deserves to feel safe, comfortable and cared for. ❤️

Apologies for the radio silence. Just over a week ago, I found a lump on my boy Winter 😭.

The vets run some tests and its a skin tumour with thankfully a low risk of it spreading. He will be having surgery next week to remove it.

He's fine in himself, however his mam has aged about 10 years, sprouted at least 20 new grey hairs and eaten enough junk food for two people in the last 7 days 🫣🥞🍷

I've got a gallery full of gorgeous doggy pawtrates to upload and will restart Arctic Grooming admin over the next few days 🐺❤️

🎃🚌 SOMETHING SPOOKY IS HAPPENING AT ARCTIC GROOMING ACADEMY… 👻

The Arctic School Bus has been making its rounds… 🚌🐾 bringing them in for their lessons, then delivering them safely back home again.

And today's pupils have been getting up to some seriously spooky stuff… 👀

🕷️ TILLY
Lesson: Nail Trim
Grade: ⭐⭐
Status: Suspiciously ok

Tilly doesn't enjoy nail trims and usually lets me know. Despite that she manages to keep that gorgeous smile on her face throughout. 😁 Honestly, I'm beginning to suspect she's hiding something. 👻

🦇 DEXTER
Lessons: Full Groom + Teeth Cleaning 🦷✂️
Grade: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Status: Happiest. Dog. Ever.

Dexter came in for his first ever teeth-cleaning session, as well as his groom, and was an absolute superstar! 🦷✨

There is no escaping the happiest little dog ever when he's around!

Both pupils were collected from home and dropped safely back afterwards, so their humans didn't even have to brave the school run. 🚌👻

Look at the difference after just one session! 😍

This gorgeous boy is Dexter, who came in for his first teeth-cleaning session with me — and what a great first session he had! 🐾

Regular teeth cleaning can help remove plaque and tartar build-up, helping you keep on top of your dog's oral hygiene between veterinary dental checks.

Every dog is different, and results will vary depending on the amount of build-up and how well they tolerate the treatment, but even a little improvement is a great start. 🦷✨
