has never been without some sort of animal. M-dogz headquaters currently consists of two dogs, a cat, as well as ducks and chickens. Mary loves all animals and would love to take care of your pet whilst you are at work or on holiday. M-dogz is fully insured and holds a Canine First Aid Certification as well as an Enhanced DBS (criminal check); important when you ar

e allowing someone into your home and be trusted with your pet. Mary has spent most of her career as an outdoor instructor, she is happy in all weathers and environments. Perfect for when your pet needs a good walk and the weather is poor. M-dogz wants to give you confidence that your pet is being well looked after and is top priority whilst in our care. Your initial meet and greet is free, this allows us to chat and meet your pet ensuring everyone is happy. CANINE FIRST AID

When we say “take your dog to the vet,” it sounds simple — but with large breeds like German Shepherd’s, or when you’re in a remote location, it can be anything but.

Transporting an injured or seriously ill dog safely back to the car and onwards to veterinary care can be physically demanding and stressful, especially in mountains, on trails, or difficult terrain.

On the Canine First Aid Course we discuss practical ways of moving and transporting dogs in an emergency, including improvised techniques and specialist equipment (such as the Ruffwear Dog Evacuation Kit shown here) to demonstrate some of the systems available to help with this process.

The next open course is Sunday 23rd August at Boulder Adventures.
