⚡️ Try this as a fun alternative to “fetch”

➡️ Fetch is a repetitive game that can really put strain on our dogs joints and muscles, and gets them addicted to chasing - making them totally wired!!

This game uses your dogs brain and builds impulse control, as well as giving them a physical work out.

Here are the first few steps I train, in one of my favourite games to teach dogs impulse control from chasing.

➡️ We can teach dogs to stop, and recall from chase.

But impulse control is an essential part of this.

🧠 If they see a fluffy thing move, we want them to stop, and think. Not immediately lunge into a chase.

This game teaches dogs the skills and the motor patterns to do exactly that.
