This beautiful boy carries the rare A2 allele of the Agouti Signalling Protein (ASIP) gene, a distinctive variant identified in Bengal and Savannah cats.
Interestingly, some breeders have observed that Bengals carrying A2 can have exceptionally clear coats, strong contrast and reduced tarnishing in silvers.
Although he is currently going through the fuzzy stage, this little boy is certainly showing these characteristics already, with a beautifully clear white background to his glittered silver coat and lovely crisp contrast.
A fascinating and still relatively uncommon piece of Bengal genetics. 🩶

✨Introducing GuiltyBengals Smoke and Mirrors✨

I'm absolutely delighted to announce the newest girl joining Silverstorm - GuiltyBengals Smoke and Mirrors 🖤✨

“Smoke and Mirrors" is a beautiful smoke (silver melanistic) girl, carrying some very special lines close to my heart, including Bengalivo Silver Moon and my own Silverstorm Midnight in the Jungle. F
I'm so excited to see what the future holds for this gorgeous girl. Hopefully, she will produce some very special Melanistic kittens - our own little black panthers 🖤🐆 - as well as beautiful silver charcoals.

There's something incredibly special about a melanistic Bengal when that beautiful silver undercoat shines through the deep black coat, and I can't wait to watch her mature.
A huge thank you to Guilty Bengals for entrusting me with this very special girl.
Welcome to Silverstorm Bengals, Smoke and Mirrors. I have a feeling you're going to be rather special. 🖤✨

Three happy updates today ❤️

Sola and Luna have settled beautifully together in South Wales, while little Maya is happily snuggled up on a lap in Scotland.

After just two days of unpacking, they’re all looking relaxed, confident and very happy 🐾
