💚 We’re looking for donations!

We’re having a little push on our fundraising at the moment and are looking for a few things we can use to raise money for the rescue.

👗 Clothes, shoes & bags
If you’re having a clear out, we’d really appreciate any new or good condition clothes, shoes or bags that we can sell on Vinted. Please just make sure they’re clean and in a good condition.

🎁 New gifts & bottles of alcohol
We’re also looking for any new, unwanted gifts or unopened bottles of alcohol that we can use for our raffles, tombolas and fundraising events.

If you have anything you think we could use, please get in touch or drop us a message

It might not seem like much, but all of these donations help us turn things we no longer need into money for the animals. 💚

Thank you as always for supporting us

🐴 Having a tack room clear-out? 🐴

We’d love to give your unwanted equestrian gear a new lease of life! 💚

If you’re having a sort-out and have any tack, horse rugs or equestrian clothing in usable condition, Little Nest Rescue would be so grateful for your donations.

Whether it’s a bridle you no longer use, rugs your horse has outgrown or riding clothes you no longer need, your pre-loved items could help support our rescue and raise funds for the animals in our care.

♻️ One person’s clear-out could make a real difference!

📩 Have something you’d like to donate? Drop us a message before arranging a drop-off we’d love to hear from you!

Thank you for thinking of Little Nest Rescue and helping us continue our work with animals and our community wellbeing projects. 💚🐴🐾

🐱🏡 TWO CATS LOOKING FOR A FARM HOME 🏡🐱

We are looking for the right farm or rural home for these two cats to move to together. 💚

They will need:

🌿 A safe, secure farm environment
🏠 Access to suitable shelter at all times
🍽️ Fresh food and clean water provided daily
🩺 Veterinary care when needed
❤️ Patience and understanding while they settle into their new surroundings

When they first arrive, they must be kept securely contained for around 6 weeks. This is really important to allow them time to settle, learn where their new home is and become familiar with the people and routine around them before being given access to a larger area.

These are not cats that can simply be dropped off and left to fend for themselves. They still need regular care, monitoring and human interaction, even once they are settled. 🐾

We are looking for someone who understands what is involved in giving farm cats a safe and secure home and is committed to their welfare long-term.

📩 If you think you could offer the right home, please message us with some information about your farm/home and the environment they would be living in.

Please share to help us find their perfect home. 💚🐾

💚 Meet Colin, head of the horse herd and resident escape artist! 🐴👑

Colin is a firm but fair leader who knows exactly what he’s doing and, more importantly, how to get everyone else to do it too!

He’s incredibly intelligent, which is a wonderful quality until you realise he’s clever enough to work out how to open stable doors. 😂🔓

We’re fairly sure no stable door is safe when Colin puts his mind to something. He’s definitely the sort who keeps us on our toes, and we suspect he’s always one step ahead of us!

But that’s Colin. A strong leader, a clever boy, and a very important part of our Little Nest family. 💚
