It is always difficult to work on such steep ground but the brave guys have managed to cut some sections at the tops. There is still plenty of deep cover in the rushes with better visibility and less of the pesky grass seeds. We hope to have a few cows out there next week, very docile and very used to the pistols and dog training.

Because the spaniels are prone to problems with grass seeds we always 'top' where possible on the technical area, we leave the grass as long as we can but cut off those troublesome seeds. Sadly the spaniels couldn't come today as it's just too hot, even here 🤣 but lots of opportunities ahead .
