🐕End of an era for me and this old boy today. He’s going into retirement so today is his last solo walk.

Me and Griff have been having our daily tootle around Harpur for years now. He’s a quirky boy and I’ll miss his little ways.

Griff-isms include:

1. Looking at me from his nap on the sofa for about 10 seconds before he decides to move and come for a walk

2. Refusing to walk anywhere but our set route, digs his heels in and won’t move if you try and spice up his life by taking him anywhere else

3. Also refusing to walk past any loud noise such as the drills they use when putting up scaffolding

4. Getting in there first with a good bark at any dogs bigger than him, with a flat face, or coming near his treats

5. Trying to eat any cat he sees, but also trying to eat their poo at any opportunity

We don’t just walk dogs, we get to know them and their personalities inside out and how to manage them.
