My name’s Caitlin and I’m the owner of Paws of Adventure.

Fun, offlead countryside walks in various locations around Buxton. For social dogs, and contain between 4-5 dogs at a time. 1 hour in duration which excludes travel time (the dogs

are with me for much longer than the hour!)

Pet Sitting: house visits for small animals and cats whilst you are away. I can also do pop-ins for dogs if left for a long period of time (dog visits can only be accommodated during non-walking hours, which are Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm). You can also find me on Instagram @ paws_ofadventure

This week may have only been four days long due to the bank holiday, but it's certainly been a busy one! 🤩

It's been a fun-filled week full of adventures, along with a not-so fun-filled week full of dodging road closures and long diversions 🤪

We were also joined by a beautiful newbie, can you spot her amongst the photos? The very beautiful Luna! She hopped straight into the van and got involved with the fun right away despite her nerves, she did incredibly well! We're looking forwards to seeing her become more confident with time ❤️

Betsy, Merlin and Alfie continue to do amazingly well and are settling in nicely. Betsy enjoyed a bit of bog-diving yesterday, courtesy of Violet and Scout, who happily led her to the biggest mud puddles 😆

Merlin's recall was spot on on his longline, and next we're going to progress to a dropped lead and freedom 🤩

And Alfie continuous to be a bundle of energy 😁

Happy weekend everybody! It's time for our photo upload 📸

We've had a mixed bag weather wise, we've had sun, cloud, and a very rainy day all thrown in. Not that it's stopped us - Thursday was bliss with the weather we've been having. Not a soul in sight 🤩

And some more exciting news, the Paws of Adventure gang has grown!

Can you spot the beautiful Merlin amongst the photos? He joined us for his first walk on a very rainy day, and what a dream he was! He fitted in beautifully, just like he's always been there 😁

We've also had the very bouncy and life-loving Betsy join us! She well and truly joined in on the fun and decided to cover herself in grass seeds within about 20 seconds 😆 Scout in particular is very fond of her...

We've had a busy week!

We welcomed the absolutely stunning Alfie to the group - can you spot him amongst the photos? He settled in right away, just like he's been amongst the crew all along!

Happy weekend folks!

Not too many from this week due to the dreaded flies, everytime we stopped for a photo we were swarmed by hundreds of them 🫣🤢

Another hot one this week, so not too many walks, but the walks we did get out, we had plenty of fun! Miss Winnipeg certainly made the most of it... she dove straight into a bog 😆

A big thank you again to those who allowed me to move time slots forwards and to keep walking. Paws of Adventure wouldn't be anywhere without you 🙌🏻

I've got everything crossed that that was the last of it!

Shout out to little Miss Nellie, who was off lead with the gang for the first time this week. She aced it!

Gooood morning early birds!

We're up and out already to beat the heat, and gosh it's already warm! We'll be done after this and switching to pop ins to make sure everybody stays safe.

Remember, no dog died from missing a walk, but they did when going for a walk in temperatures like this. The number of dogs I see walking at midday in full sun when the weather is like this is worrying 🫣

They certainly wouldn't drag you out in it if it was the other way around...

Wednesday 12th August

Another hot one forecasted for tomorrow!

We're going to have an early start, with the aim of our first walk starting at 7am, and our second no later than 9:30am.

This is make sure that everybody stays nice and cool 🐾

Tuesday 11th August 🌞

The temperatures are beginning to creep up again...

So back to the hot weather plan!

Tomorrow's morning group will remain at the same time, and tomorrow's lunchtime and early afternoon group will be combined. Pick up timings for this walk will begin at 10:15am. I'm aiming to everybody to be home for just after lunch, where the feels like temperature is 20c.

Thanks again for everyone who's swapped this week - it's meant that dogs who are home alone can be walked before it becomes a bit too toasty 🥵

Although Thursday is looking a worry! 🫣

Happy Monday!

A big thank you to everybody who has switched to either today or Friday, along with the continued flexibility of timings of everybody else with yet another heatwave to come!

It really means the world to me and helps keep my small business going during this difficult period for us dog walkers.

We'll always put the welfare of the dogs first.

I'll be messaging regarding tomorrow this evening, everybody who is booked on has got a space 🌞
