Meet Frank! 🐸 Absolutely wild on the floor, but a total professional the second the Zoom Groom comes out. He’s been a regular client since April, and this is the only tool that actually handles that stubborn Staffy shedding. Quick little line-brushing lesson with Ralph 🐶✂️

So many people brush the top of the coat and think they’ve got right through it, but the tangles can still be hiding underneath!

Line brushing followed by a comb is such a simple way to check you’ve actually worked through the whole coat.

And now the weather is getting wetter and colder, keeping on top of brushing between grooms is even more important 🌧️🐾

This isn’t just for poodle mixes either. If your dog has a long, thick or easily tangled coat, this technique can really help.

🪮 Slicker brush + comb linked in my TikTok Shop.

And excuse my voice… this cold has absolutely ruined it 😂🤧

Every new dog teaches you something ❤️

Today was my first time grooming Elsie, so I was paying close attention to how she reacted to everything.

She wasn’t a huge fan of the dryer, but starting on a low setting, going at her pace and giving her lots of reassurance helped her cope really well.

I also knew she wasn’t a fan of having her nails done, but she did amazingly well.

These little things are so important because I can remember them for her next groom and make the experience as comfortable and positive as possible.

It’s not about expecting every dog to love everything. It’s about understanding the individual dog in front of you. 🐾

She really said: “Dry my paws, skip the face please!” ✋😂
Eileen is the sweetest regular. Even though she isn’t a fan of the blaster near her face, she always offers her paws to help speed things up. Love a cooperative queen! 👑 Clean, tidy, and ready to go home.

Ever wondered why your groomer might take clippers to your dog before they’ve even touched the bath? 🧼✂️
It’s a professional technique called pre-clipping, and it’s the secret to a smarter, deeper cleanse. By removing the heavy bulk of the coat first, the shampoo can instantly pe*****te right to the skin rather than getting trapped in inches of excess hair.
Not only does it give a far more thorough wash, but it also saves significant drying time meaning less stress for the dog!
