Hi just thought I would share my scary morn (Roxi is fine). Took Roxi out early morn walk she was off running around as norm. I decided to add a little extra on as it was going to be a hot day. Roxi lost me so took herself home but realised I was not there so she retraced and found me. She was panting so I headed to the toilet block in the park 5 mins from where we were. She lay down 1/2 way there so I carried her. I tried to get her to drink but she wouldn't so I poured water on her and she started to fit. I ran her into the block and put her in the sink pouring water over her and we were rushed to the vets. They said all vitals fine temp 39.5. Vet said the stress of losing me and the heat which was 24 must have caused her heat stress. By the time I got her home it was as though nothing had happened and she just wanted to play in the garden. Please share as it all happened too quickly and could have been a different ending.
