The Groom Cabin is changing the way your dog feels about grooming. Using premium equipment, dogs can get the benefit of groom and play packages in a location they already know, trust and love. The Groom Cabin also benefits from its own playground meaning non-daycare dogs can take advantage with a stretch and play eliminating the need for crating. Using high quality products such as Hownd (vegan and cruelty free) your dog will not only smell amazing but with additional features such as sensitive skin, anxious and anti staining conditioners we can tailor your dogs pamper day to exactly what you want. What's more our excellent in house experienced Groomer can do your groom exactly how you want, advise on the best post groom care and what to do to make sure they stay soft and fluffy! We make sure your dogs happiness is our number one priority.

❗️FLEAS & TICKS ❗️

Did you know fleas and ticks love warm, damp weather? That means this time of year our furry friends can be at extra risk of attracting these pests 🐾

We always recommend oral flea & tick treatments from your vet. These tablets offer the best protection as spot-ons aren’t always as effective. Ensure you keep within schedule to offer the best possible coverage.

✨ Top tips to help keep your pup safe ✨
🌿 Avoid long grass & wooded areas where fleas/ticks love to hide
🪮 Comb through your dog’s coat regularly
🔎 Check for flea dirt (tiny black specks), eggs (small oval white specks) or ticks
👀 Keep an eye out for excessive scratching or irritated skin

💡 If you do spot fleas
🛁 Use a flea shampoo to help wash away flea dirt or eggs
💊 Treat your dog with a vet approved flea treatment
🏡 Treat your home too! Vacuum thoroughly, wash bedding and soft toys on a hot temperature and treat any other pets in the home as they could be at risk of spread.

💡 If you do spot a tick
🐾 You can use a tick remover tool to twist and pull out, however always ensure you pull out the whole tick to avoid infection.
✨ A vet may be able to help with this

⚠️ Please note: If we spot fleas, eggs or flea dirt at daycare, we’ll need to isolate and send your dog home. The daycare session will still be charged and there may be a small cleaning surcharge as we have to deep clean our whole facility to prevent any spread.
