โI aim to keep all boarding groups in separate rooms whenever possible, including during their daily free-roam time. Every stay includes daily free-roam, individual health checks, and plenty of cuddles.
โI offer a choice of high-quality substrates (Snowflake Supreme or Green Mileโwhich can be mixed, or you are welcome to bring your own). For litter trays, I use Breeder Celect / Back2Nature, and all cleaning is done using rat-safe Anigene / F10 surface disinfectant alongside a natural distilled white vinegar and water mix.

โI am highly experienced and confident in administering medication to rats, and I provide this service free of charge.
โShould your beloved pets become unwell during their stay, I am registered with a fantastic local clinic, Bury St Edmunds Veterinary Centre, which features dedicated, rat-savvy vets and nurses alongside a reliable emergency service.

โโข ๐ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐: I make my own high-quality Shunamite mix. Your rats are welcome to enjoy it for ยฃ1 per day (ยฃ1.50 per day for groups over 5 rats), or you can bring their usual mix from home.
โข ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ต ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ & ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐: Fresh daily veggies, extra protein for younger rats, and tasty treats are completely included in the daily boarding fee.
โข ๐ฆ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐: Daily essentials and Calcivet water supplements are provided free of charge, though you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.

โTo give your rats the best possible care, I ask for the following:
โข ๐๐ป๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: As much detail as possible regarding their health history, mobility, unique behaviors, and group dynamics. Once your booking is confirmed, I will email you a Vet Release Form and an About Your Rats form to fill out. I will need those returned to me at least 48hours before arrival day.
โข ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ: While I have plenty of spare hammocks, please bring at least one hammock from home that smells familiar to help them settle in during their first few days.
โข ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ "๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐ง๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ": When bringing them over, please put some used substrate from their current cage into their travel carrier. I will transfer this into their holiday cage to make the new environment feel instantly familiar and less stressful. ๐

โI am a passionate rat lover and currently own 10 beautiful female rats (who have their own private bedroom completely separate from the boarding spaces). I also have a friendly Chihuahua, who has no access to the boarding rooms or my own rats' room.
โIn my spare time, I sometimes rescue, foster, and rehome rats in need. I am also an admin for Rats UK: Help don't critise and Rat Rehoming UK, where we support the community with trusted advice on rat health, daily care, and everything else rat-related.
โRest assured, I will ensure your rats enjoy their own wonderful holiday while you are away, complete with daily updates and videos! ๐
