What To Do if Your Beloved Pet Passes Away At the Vets

As we all know, the loss of a pet can be a very traumatic and upsetting time and none more so when they pass from an illness.

When a pet passes away at a vets they will ask about what you want to do with their body. At this distressing time, it can be very difficult to make a decision about their passing and whether to go for a cremation or home burial.

We get a lot of calls before a pet is put to sleep asking about timings & appointments - the main difference between us and the vets own cremation services is that we don’t use fridges or freezers. We cremate the pets in our care within 24hrs, with ashes ready the next working day.

On arrival, you will meet our team of kind, caring professionals who will care for your pet as if it were their own. We have all been through this sadness ourselves and will be able to talk you through the journey that your beloved pet will go on.

Remember - we care for beloved pets that have passed away, the vet cares for them when they are alive.

If you are struggling with this issue, please give us a call and we will do everything we can to help.

So true

Leaving Lasting Memories at the Lake of Remembrance

Our Lake of Remembrance is a calm and peaceful spot situated within our grounds for visitors to sit and reflect on the furry friends that have graced their lives with pawprints over the years. Whether it's a recent loss or years have passed, grief never really leaves us, so having this space for people to sit and reflect is very important to us.

Treating animals with dignity and respect as they say their final farewells is paramount to our philosophy no matter the size.

That's why we have been granted special dispensation to scatter the ashes of those animals cremated in communal cremations around the lake, ensuring that they find peace here. They never have to leave the farm.

If you would be interested in visiting the lake to reflect on your own loss, or would like to discuss the communal cremation pricing with a member of the team, please get in touch today.
