It means a lot to me that everyone has been thinking of me and sending me places to live privately.

I think you all have the right to know that I did manage to get accepted for a place!
A lovely landlord and estate agent couldn’t say no and gave me the opportunity that I have been waiting for this last 10 ish months.

It is not the long term home I was looking for, the location I wanted or my plans getting back into rehabilitation of foster dogs again is now on hold.

However, I have to look at the positive that me and Lucky have our own space.

I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about everything, but I am so grateful to all of you.
The support after a sensitive read or conversation, has been more than I could imagine.

So thank you.

And of course, Jace will always be apart of where ever I am 💛

It’s been quite a rollercoaster recently but I’m so grateful to ever dog, to every person.

One including Rubi & Co Dog Services for being such a light in my life.
To the point she thought of me on one of her busiest days and asked if I wanted Chappie!

Both Jennie and the owner knew how much Chappie makes everyone smile, just what I needed 💛

It sure is hard to come to terms with the fact 3 days before Jace wasn’t showing signs of being sick, she was okay…

Enjoying her training walk and some personal time with me.

Engaging and showing every single thing she remembers.

She was sore, but I never knew how much discomfort she was in.

It sure is difficult to get your head around.

It’s completely heart breaking to know how much she loved life 😞

My baby girl at 13 years old, life was taken out of her hands because of an aggressive tumour growing on her spleen.
This was unexpected and something that wasn’t showing until the day before.

I had to make the selfless decision to let her go in less suffering.
As much as my pain is now something I need to deal with- at least she isn’t going to be in more pain.

This was a heartbreaking decision, but the right one long term.

I am grieving quite hard and in my own way, so please respect that.

Messages have been sent to majority of my regular clients and I hope I didn’t come across too strongly for asking to be treated as normal and to be given space.

Yes, I will be returning work. I need to and have to.
This will be very hard for me as I really need everyone to understand that I need to be strong and to not break.

I have decided to turn comments off as it’s too hard for me.

Jace has had an incredible life, I will honour her because she gave me everything.
She was the true start to my job.
My first ever dog as an adult.
My first therapy dog.
My first stooge dog.
And everyone’s friend.
