We’re delighted to welcome Sarah from Wag Rehab, an experienced Veterinary Physiotherapist, for an informative evening exploring the important connection between movement, behaviour and wellbeing.

From puppies through to senior dogs, understanding how movement and physical wellbeing can influence behaviour can help us become better at recognising what our dogs are communicating.

Sarah's work focuses on veterinary physiotherapy, supporting dogs through injury, recovery and chronic conditions, with comfort, welfare and quality of life at the heart of her approach.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from a veterinary physiotherapist and gain a greater understanding of what may be happening beneath the behaviour.

It’s time to let your four-legged friends make a splash! 🐶🌊

We’re delighted to announce that our popular Doggy Splash Sessions are returning to Ashby Leisure Centre & Lido this September and October! 🎉

Bring your pooch along for a fun-filled swim in our outdoor pool – perfect for dogs who love to get wet and wild! 🐕💦

🆕 NEW FOR 2026!
We’ve added new ramps running along the shallow end of the pool, including a step into the water to make it easier and more accessible for dogs to get out of the pool. 🐾👏

📌 Important: Dogs must be dog-friendly and owners must remain in the pool with their dog at all times. All participants will need to complete a participation waiver on arrival.

🚗Please ensure you sign your car registration in at reception for free parking.

🧼 Following the final session, the poolside area will be thoroughly disinfected and the pool filtered and cleaned before the outdoor pool closes for the season.

🐾🌟 PROUD INSTRUCTOR MOMENT 🌟🐾

I am absolutely delighted to congratulate Sarah & Fudge on their Sergeant Award for Scentwork! 🏅🐕‍🦺

But that’s not all… they absolutely blew me away with their fabulous search system at the last trial they entered! 😍👏 Watching how far this team has come makes me incredibly proud.

I’ve had the pleasure of supporting this partnership all the way from Puppy Class, through their scentwork journey, and onto Competition Scent Dog Trials standard. 🐾❤️

Seeing a team develop their skills, confidence, communication and understanding over time is exactly why I love what I do. To watch all that hard work and dedication come together is just fantastic! 🥰

A massive WELL DONE to you both. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves!

A very special well done to Tracy & Daisy on their recent placing at a Scentwork UK trial!🏆🐕‍🦺

Daisy is a reactive collie, and one of the things I love most about watching this team is how brilliantly Tracy advocates for Daisy. She understands her girl, listens to her, gives her the space she needs and supports her every step of the way. ❤️

Scentwork is such a wonderful outlet for anxious and reactive dogs. It gives them the opportunity to use their incredible noses, work at their own pace, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun! 🥰

Well done, Tracy & Daisy 🌟 Keep enjoying your scentwork journey together! 🐾

🐾 A very proud trainer moment! 🐾

A few months ago, this lovely student got in touch with me for one-to-one training with a clear goal in mind — to help them develop focus, polite lead walking and advance their general obedience skills, all with the aim of passing their first assistance dog assessment.

We’ve worked hard on building those skills, improving focus and engagement, and creating confidence and consistency in different situations. It’s been fantastic watching the progress along the way. ❤️

And today they went for it and messaged me to say … THEY PASSED! 🎉🐕‍🦺

I honestly couldn’t be prouder. What an incredible achievement and a huge milestone on their assistance dog training journey.

A massive well done to both dog and handler — all their hard work, patience and dedication is paying off. 🙌

Today is definitely one of those moments that reminds me exactly why I love what I do. ❤️🐾

Congratulations team, first assessment passed! Here’s to the next chapter of your journey! 🎓🐕‍🦺✨

🐾 From Puppy Class 25 to Tracking Class 26! 🐾

It was such a joy to have one of last years puppy class graduates return to join our Tracking sessions. Seeing that confidence, enthusiasm and partnership develop is exactly why we love what we do.

One of the greatest privileges as a trainer is being able to support dogs and their owners not just through puppyhood, but throughout their journey together. Building those foundations is only the beginning—there's so much more you can enjoy together!

Whether you'd like to explore Tracking, Scentwork, continue with further training, or simply enjoy learning new skills with your dog, we'd love to welcome you back.
Watching our puppies grow into happy, confident adult dogs while continuing to strengthen the bond with their owners is incredibly rewarding, and we're so grateful to be part of that journey.
