We get asked a lot why the cattle are tethered during the experiences, is it to force them to take part? No the only reason they’re tethered is because the ones at the top of the pecking order will chase away (sometimes quite forcefully with their horns) the ones below them over food and attention so it makes it safer so no one gets in the way of them chasing each other away and it’s a much more enjoyable experience for those lower in the pecking order who otherwise wouldn’t get to enjoy the food and fuss! As you can see our beautiful Summer here isn’t tethered and is very happily loving a pre session spruce up brush, they will often choose brushing over food stopping eating and standing still with looks of utter joy on their faces enjoying the brush then resuming eating when the brushing is over 🥰🐮

They’re in 😁😁 it was an absolute nightmare getting them in because we were determined not to take down any healthy trees but we got there in the end! I didn’t want to include any music in the video so you can appreciate a snippet of the peace and quiet but please excuse my breathing, I’m just getting over a cold 😂
