Through The Dog's Eyes aims to enable you to build a positive, fun and rewarding relationship with your dog using only kind and effective, science based methods. 🐶

We are friendly and approachable experienced trainers having worked with

dogs for many years, with personal experience of rescue and some of the behavioural issues that go hand in hand with a rescue dog. We offer a range of services including specialised dog walking adventures, training classes and 1 2 1 sessions. 🐾

We believe that to train you and your dog effectively we need to have the most up to date knowledge and expertise available, for this reason we are committed to our own continued professional development(CPD). Between us we have a diploma in Canine Psychology and Behaviour with the ISCP and a qualification as a dog trainer with the IMDT. Both the ISCP and IMDT are accredited bodies known for their ethical, science based teachings whose members must meet expected standards.

🥳 We were delighted to hear that we had been awarded 'Dog Training Company of the Year – Staffordshire' again.

🤗 We are very grateful and humbled to have won this award for the second year running and its thanks to you 🫵, yes you 🫵that its been possible. So a big thank you to everyone who has left us a review or recommended any of our services, it makes such a difference. And a big thank you to for selecting us as a winner. Sadly this year, we were unable to make the award ceremony due to pre planned holiday.

🐶As many of you know, having now lost 2 of the main TTDE dogs in the space of under a year has been a bitter blow and we are still dealing with the losses, so when we have news like this, our spirits are lifted. Holly and Zephyr are missed every day and we are grateful for the part they played in making our business a success, so we dedicate this award to them 🐶🐶

There's cute, and then there's this little bundle of loveliness 😍

11 week old Willow had her 121 session at home this afternoon as part of the Welcome Home Puppy package. She will be starting classes on Sunday, where she will be joined by other puppies and their pawrents. 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺

If you would like your puppy to be Willow's classmate then we still have 1 space left on Sunday in Stonnall, as well as a few spaces on Monday in Burntwood or Friday in Aldridge.

We do also offer 121 sessions for those who cannot attend classes, with a variety of options available. Get in touch if you would like some guidance on the right service for you.

Poppy recently completed one of our puppy courses, and here she is enjoying her end of course puppacino 🐶

We have new courses starting this Sunday and next week, and we have availability for both puppies and older dogs on the following days:

Sunday mornings in Stonnall, starting 31st May

Monday evenings in Burntwood, starting 1st June

Friday evenings in Aldridge, starting 5th June

🐕 The event is in full swing, we've got an ice cream van, waffles, free photo for your dog and a fully shaded cool tent with a paddling pool and wet towels.

We have 7 paddling pools scattered around the event with multiple dog water bowls.

You may see some dogs with coats on but rest assured these are specialist 'cool' coats designed to keep dogs cool in warmer weather.

****Important notice regarding our Fun Dog show this weekend****

Due to the potential high temperatures this Sunday we have made the decision to start the event an hour earlier than originally scheduled in order to avoid the hottest part of the day. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EVENT WILL NOW OPEN AT 10AM, WITH THE FIRST CLASS STARTING AT 10:30AM.

Below is the revised class schedule.

We will also be supplying dog paddling pools throughout the ground in order to help keep dogs cool.
