☀️🐾 Heatwave Notice 🐾☀️

With the current hot weather, your dog’s health and safety comes first.

If you have a grooming appointment, please avoid walking your dog to us if possible. Hot pavements can burn paws, and spending too much time outdoors in these temperatures can quickly lead to overheating or heatstroke.

If possible, please travel by car and keep your dog’s time outside to an absolute minimum.

I’ll also be keeping a close eye on the temperature in the salon throughout the day. If it becomes too warm for me to safely groom your dog, I may need to adjust or reschedule appointments at short notice. Your dog’s comfort and wellbeing will always come first.

If you’re concerned about bringing your dog in during the heatwave, or you’d rather wait until the weather cools down, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’m more than happy to reschedule your appointment.

☀️🐾 Heatstroke can happen quickly, even in the shade. 🐾☀️

Please keep an eye out for signs of overheating, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting or collapse.

Avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day, keep plenty of fresh water available, and remember that if you’re feeling hot, your dog is too.

If you suspect heatstroke, start cooling your dog and contact your vet immediately. ❤️🐶

With the temperatures being so high at the moment, please avoid walking your dogs to their grooming appointments if possible. The heat can be dangerous for our furry friends, and hot pavements can burn their paws.

If you do need to bring your dog, please try to keep their time outdoors to an absolute minimum and ensure they have plenty of water.

If you’re concerned about travelling in the heat or would prefer to rearrange your appointment, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we can reschedule.
