⭐️ Turnaround/completion timescales.& installation dates.⭐️
Hi just a bit of information regarding our timescales and installation process.
⭐️ Due to the nature of our buisness any Turnaround times given are estimated and cannot be guaranteed, jobs may be completed sooner or indeed later, we are subject to occasional delays/holdups which are beyond our control.
Supplies / materials can be subject to shortages, shipping delays, delayed deliveries, which as a result can cause us delays.
⭐️ We rely on outside factories/plants to complete our finishing processes on our handmade steel panels, (steel galvanizing plant / gritblasters/powdercoating plants)
These are large commercial factories which can be subject to staffing issues and other problems which has occasionally caused delays with our jobs being completed as soon as we would have liked.
⭐️ Why are our turnover times much longer than others companies?
This is because as a small family buisness there is only one person making the steel catios and one person making the timber, all completely made from scratch, they are also the same ones travelling the UK installing them, so you have the same people installing your catios, that made them, meaning they are fully capable of making any nessasary adjustments to make your catio fit if you have made minor measuring errors, or have awkward pipes, fascias ect that need cutting /fitting around, to leave it fully secure.
A courier service cannot offer that personal service, guarantee or peace of mind, and they don't care about you or your catio.
⭐️ Larger commercial scale businesses hold large stock, or buy in premade products which they rebrand under their own company name and use fast courier services.
⭐️ We don't have a manned office 5 days a week, so there can be delays answering update enquiries about your orders.
Installation dates.
⭐️ Due to the nature of our work and the need for outsourcing our handmade steel panels to complete the finishing process, ( galvanizing & powdercoating) we are unable to give installation dates in advance.
We do try to give a week or two notice if possible, but we cannot arrange an installation date until after your catio has been made by us, taken to the finishers, Then collected again by us and in our possession again.
