Polite Notice 🐾

To help your pup have the calmest possible grooming experience, we kindly ask that all dogs are taken to relieve themselves immediately before their appointment. Please also do not allow your dog to use our garden as a toilet.

This is one reason we ask that all dogs are kept on leads and not allowed on the grass at the front—it belongs to our neighbours. I know accidents can happen, but this is my parents’ home, and they have very kindly let me use their space again for grooming. We do not want the garden or inside my salon to develop unpleasant odours and encourage dogs to p*e inside especially if it gets on my equipment which costs a lot of money.

Recently, I have had to stop work to clean up after dogs—particularly entire males that have lifted their legs on walls, fences, or the side of the building. This takes time away from grooming, and I am trying to discourage this behaviour.

There are designated areas for dogs to relieve themselves: one at the bottom of the street and another at the nearby park—both are public spaces. If your dog tries to scent-mark, please pick them up or gently discourage them. Accidents can be stressful for your dog and will interrupt their service.
