Living with a family protection dog isn’t what most people think.

People assume they’re on high alert all day, need constant work, or require 20-mile walks just to stay balanced. The truth is, it depends on the dog. When you have the right dog with the right temperament and drive, they’re simply a normal family pet just a trained one.

They love the same things every dog loves:
walks, cuddles, playtime, chasing a ball, and being part of the family.

A well-trained protection dog should be calm, stable, and able to switch off at home. The protection is there when it’s genuinely needed not every second of the day.

Enjoy them, treat them like a dog, and give them the life every good dog deserves. Just understand what you have, respect the training, and know that when the moment comes, they’ll be there to protect you.

Watching Drago begin his new journey in the USA 🇺🇸 was a truly special moment for us.

Drago is one of our own breedings, a boy who has meant so much to us from the very beginning, and now he’s become a special part of an amazing family.

This handover is one we will cherish forever for so many reasons. Seeing him step into this next chapter makes us incredibly proud, and we know he will give this family everything he has with loyalty, love, and protection every single day.

A bit of a different vlog today an insight into the residential side of the business.

What so many people don’t know is that we have two sites, and one is fully dedicated to residential training for other people’s dogs. Dogs come to us for everything from behaviour issues, manners, recall and obedience, right through to protection training.

We work with any dog, big or small, and it’s all residential only. We’ve got a really good team of passionate people who genuinely care about helping owners fix problems and get the best out of their dogs through proper training.
