Hope this is helpful for us dog lovers in this heat.

It’s looking like it’s going to be a scorching bank holiday weekend, so it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with what temperatures are safe for your dog☀️🐶
Every year our vets treat hundreds of heat stroke cases and, heartbreakingly, some end in tragedy. Many are unfortunately a result of owners not knowing the dangers of exercising their dogs in temperatures to hot for them to handle.
Heat-related illnesses are almost always preventable. DONT TAKE THE RISK and make sure your pet isn’t overheating in the sun.
Temperatures over 24 degrees will be uncomfortable for most of our dogs, so make sure you are walking them at the coolest times of the day or simply keep them at home and give them some mental stimulation and enrichment things to do instead.
If you think your dog may be suffering from heat stroke, contact your vet immediately! If out-of-hours, find your nearest emergency vet.
⚠️ Remember, Get them Wet, then get them to the Vet! ⚠️

Wishing Vinnie the happiest of birthdays; 14 years old today and whilst he has his health issues he’s living his best life. He was born just after midnight whilst the rest of the litter where the 25th April. 🎂🐾🦴🐶

Today we said goodbye to our last boarder for a couple of weeks whilst we get some jobs done in the garden and have a break ourselves to include Vinnie. We have had a month or so of different dogs coming and going as well as our day care babes. Here’s a few pics of them all plus a few of Vin.

Little Kobo Aka Kobi has had enjoyed his boarding time with us after months of short visits. This little fire cracker has reminded us of the joys of young dogs and having eyes in the back of your head. His snoring is soooo loud but when he goes to sleep he’s gone. See u soon little man. Kobi has also earned Dave’s flag joining Denis. lol 😂
