I have availability for anyone wanting to have their dogs shaved shorter – whether that’s Poodles, Doodles, or even double‑coated breeds!

With this ongoing heatwave, so many dogs are struggling – and I can see this first hand out of my two girls, one black, one light coloured, the black one is struggling a lot more and they have the same coat type.

I know there’s lots of debate about double coats – I’ve done plenty of research on this:
✅ Their coats do keep them warm in winter
❌ They do not keep them cool in summer
❌ Trimming sensibly with guard combs will not stop the coat growing back properly for most dogs

Having said this: I would not recommend shaving older double‑coated dogs right down. This is when coat changes are most likely to happen. I can talk to this more if anybody wishes to before the groom. 🥰

Ticks, fleas and flies are everywhere right now! I’m now using a gentle, natural conditioner that helps deter these pests – it won’t kill them, but it helps keep them off your dog while they’re out and about. Unfortunately it won't do anything for the grass seeds 😂

Wow, we had the chance to watch the amazing, Delta come and enjoy fun with the girls! She was such a darling and loved her botanic body scrub!
