🐾 Walter’s Wish needs your help! 🐾

I’m lucky enough to help out with Walter’s Wish, a wonderful dog charity that does so much to help dogs in need. My good friend Paula set this up with her mum and has a beautiful charity shop in Tewksbury town centre.

They’re currently looking for donations of doggy essentials, including things like bowls, beds, blankets, leads, collars, toys and other useful supplies.

If you have any good-quality, unwanted dog items at home that you no longer need, please consider donating them. Every donation, big or small, can make a real difference and help give these dogs the comfort and care they deserve. 🐶❤️

If you’d like to donate, you can bring your items to me at the grooming salon and I’ll make sure they get to Walter’s Wish. 🐾

✨ Cuteness overload! Meet 15-week-old Biscuit! 🐶💜

This little Shih Tzu came in for his very first puppy pamper, and he was an absolute sweetheart! 🥹

His first few grooms are all about making the experience positive, gentle and fun, while helping him slowly get used to all the new sights, sounds and sensations of grooming. ✂️🛁

From the clippers and dryers to the table and all those strange noises, early desensitisation helps build confidence and makes future grooming visits much easier. 💕🐾

Biscuit was such a good boy for his first pamper — just look at that face! 😍

Meet snoopy
He came in yesterday afternoon for his first puppy pamper. What a gorgeous cockerpoo he is 🐾❤️

It’s going to be stupidly hot the next couple of days so I hope you’re able to keep your dogs cool.
We will be opening early and closing early to make sure it doesn’t get too hot for the dogs.

The hardest part of today was remembering to take lots of photos! 📸🐾 Apologies to everyone I forgot to snap a picture of.

Lots of short trims at the moment with the warm weather, and next week is looking even hotter! ☀️

Don’t worry though—we’ve got air conditioning to keep the salon nice and cool, plus cooling mats for the dogs to relax on while they’re waiting to go home. ❤️🐶
