I spent today catching up with a couple of grooms that I had to reschedule, and Hagrid and Dobby stopped by for their full pamper sessions.

I won’t sugar-coat it… these two are absolutely horrendous when it comes to having their claws trimmed! I’m sure the neighbours must think I was up to something awful with all the dramatic crying and shouting coming from the grooming room. I promise I was only trimming some very overgrown claws!

Hagrid did his best to give me a little nibble a few times, and we had to stop for plenty of breaks to let everyone settle down. But we got there in the end, and both boys are now walking properly on their paw pads instead of their nails. Keeping nails short isn’t just about looks – it’s so much more comfortable for them and really helps with their posture, movement, and overall health.

So, instead of trying to bite me, I reckon they owe me a little thank-you certificate! 😂

I’m off to put my feet up now after today’s adventures. Have a lovely weekend, everyone! 🐾

It was so lovely to have Milo back in for his groom this afternoon. 🐾

Milo used to be one of my regular Woofs Walked adventurers, but he moved out of the area for a little while. The good news is he’ll be moving back nearby again soon, which means he’ll be joining us on our group walks once more. I can’t wait to have him back out with the gang!

In the meantime, he’s carried on coming to me for his regular grooms, so it was great to see him today for his full pamper. As always, he was a little bit fussy about having his legs done, but we got there in the end, and he left looking and feeling fantastic.

One of our regulars, the gorgeous Marley, was in for his full groom today! 🐾✨

He enjoyed a luxurious double bath, followed by a high-velocity blow dry to get his coat looking its absolute best. He also had his eyes and ears cleaned, his claws clipped, and was finished off with a spritz of our delicious strawberry bonbon fragrance. 🍓

He’s sparkling again and looking as shiny as ever! Marley is such a fabulous little boy to groom and always a pleasure to have in the salon. We can’t wait to welcome him back for his next pamper session. 💙🐶

I had to make the decision to cancel grooms this afternoon due to the very high temperatures we have at the moment. My grooming room is fab for 1-1 but in this heat it’s like a little oven! Dog comfort and safety will always come before profits.

✨ Meet gorgeous new boy, Hansel! ✨

Hansel came in today for his full groom, and he was an absolute superstar. ❤️

Unfortunately, at some point in the past his beautiful double coat had been clipped by another groomer. Because of that, we didn’t clip his coat at all today. Instead, we carefully worked with his natural coat, giving him a tidy-up around his feathering, tail and ears, along with a nail trim.

He also enjoyed a luxurious double bath in our moisturising aloe vera shampoo, followed by a high-velocity blow dry to help lift out loose undercoat and leave him feeling fresh and comfortable.

Considering Hansel is a rescue and has been very nervous about handling in the past, he was such a good boy. I felt especially honoured when his mum told me he doesn’t usually let people touch around his head, yet he trusted me enough to let me gently tidy his ears. Moments like that really do make this job so rewarding. 🥹

Thank you for trusting me with your handsome boy, Hansel. I hope we’ll have the pleasure of welcoming you back again soon. 💕🐾

Here’s our gorgeous regular, Bertie, who came in today for his full summer groom. ☀️🐾

He left looking much smarter, feeling much cooler, and ready to enjoy the warmer weather in comfort.

As always, Bertie was an absolute superstar. He was just a little fussy about having his feet done today, but with plenty of patience, reassurance, and taking things at his pace, we got there in the end. 💙

I hope his lovely mum was pleased with his fresh new look. It was a pleasure as always, Bertie, and I can’t wait to see you again for your next pamper! ✂️🐶
