Today the lovely Jack and Julian (not pictured as a tad camera shy!) checked out of the hotel. These are the very first gerbil guests we’ve had! These boys love digging, burrowing and nesting. In the wild, gerbils live in underground tunnels up to three metres long. The best way to mimic their natural habitat is to provide plenty of material for them to dig and tunnel into - and these boys can destroy a cardboard tube in no time! 🐹
