At Friends for Pets, we're lucky to be part of so many pets' lives.

From the excitement of seeing their favourite dog walker to the comfort of a familiar pet carer visiting at home, it's the little moments that make what we do so special. 🐶🐱

To all our wonderful clients, dedicated pet carers and local teams: thank you for being part of the Friends for Pets family.

Your trust and support mean so much to us, and we're grateful to help keep so many tails wagging! 💜

We'd love to see your pets enjoying their Sunday. Share a photo of your furry family member in the comments! 📸👇

😂🐾Things only dog owners will understand…

1️⃣ You can't go to the toilet without an audience. 🚽

2️⃣ Your phone storage is 90% photos of your dog. 📸

3️⃣ You say “walkies” and suddenly they're wide awake! 🐕

4️⃣ You buy them a lovely new bed… and they sleep on the cardboard box. 📦

5️⃣ You spend ages cleaning the house, then one muddy walk changes everything. 🐾

6️⃣ You wouldn't change a single thing because they're family. 💜

Be honest… how many of these sound familiar? 😂

Tag a fellow dog lover who will understand!

Our Bristol & South Glos branch is officially back open today! 🥳🎉

After surviving the wild mud, rain, and thunderstorms at Shambala festival this weekend, I am happy to be back to work from the comforts of a dry office. ☔⚡️

I'm working my way through messages, emails and online enquiries so if you messaged over the bank holiday weekend, I'll get back to you very soon. Thank you for your patience! 🙏🐾

🐶 Solo walk or group walk... which is right for your dog?

Every dog is different.

Some love making new furry friends and thrive in our friendly small group walks. 🐕

Others prefer one-to-one attention and enjoy peaceful solo adventures. 🦮

At Friends for Pets, we'll always recommend the option that's best suited to your dog's personality, confidence and individual needs.

Because happy dogs make happy owners. ❤️

📩 If you're unsure which would suit your dog best, send us a message. We'd be happy to chat.

🌡🌞 With the high temperatures forecast again this week we will be making the normal changes to scheduled walks to keep dogs and our pet carers safe in these conditions🚶‍♀️🐕

- Dog walks will be carried out in the morning, before the temperatures rise and only if it is safe to do so. 🐾☀️
- Length of walk may be reduced. 📏⬇️
- Location of walk may change. 🗺️🔄
- Dog walks may be moved to a home/garden visit instead. 🏡🌳

Your pet carer will be in contact to advise you of any changes. 🕗🌡️📞

️If you are going away, please ensure your small animal has access to plenty of shaded areas, additional water sources and rooms are kept cool by closing blinds/curtains🐇🐈‍⬛️⛱️💧

Our pet carers are trained in pet first aid and they will be monitoring your pets closely for early signs of heatstroke/dehydration/distress etc.🩺🌡️💧👀

Your pets safety is always our priority and we appreciate your understanding 🐾🙏😊❤️
