We had the pleasure of welcoming this handsome fella to the salon for the first time today! Believe it or not, everything you see in that pile came off of just one Labrador. 😱
It’s a common myth that short-haired dogs don’t need much grooming, but William is here to prove otherwise! Even with short coats, regular professional grooming is essential because:
🐾 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥: Our high velocity dryers get deep into those layers to pull out far more dead hair, dander and loose undercoat than at home brushing will. Your vacuum will thank us!
🐾 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐭: Regular baths and de-shedding removes trapped dirt, debris, and environmental allergens (like pollen) from the skin, which helps prevent skin irritation, hot spots, and odors.
🐾 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐢𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Grooming helps distribute natural oils throughout the coat and exfoliates the skin keeping it glossy, healthy, and preventing dry skin.

🐾 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐰 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞: Overgrown nails can cause discomfort, pain, and gait issues. Professional groomers safely trim nails and can check for issues in the paw pads, such as cracks or debris.
