Back to school isn't just a big change for children - it can be a big adjustment for pets too. 📚

As the summer holidays come to an end, our pets often have to get used to quieter homes, new routines and spending more time on their own.

To help them settle back into the school routine:
🐾 Gradually reintroduce time alone
🧩 Keep them busy with enrichment toys and puzzle feeders
🚶 Stick to regular walks and feeding times
💙 Make time for quality cuddles and play before and after school

We had a stray female tortoise brought in to us yesterday, who has a few injuries and is currently receiving treatment at our hospital (Highcroft Veterinary Hospital - Whitchurch)

The tortoise was found outside of the Tesco on Lime Trees Road (BS6 7XW)
