Just a reminder that we will be closed from Sunday 2nd August to Tuesday 4th August.

We’ll be back open as normal from Wednesday 5th August, with our usual business hours.

☀️ Heatwave Update ☀️

With the temperatures set to rise again this week, we may need to cancel or rearrange some grooming appointments to ensure the safety and welfare of the dogs in our care.

We’ll be taking things day by day, monitoring the forecast and making decisions throughout the week. The wellbeing of your dogs will always come first, and we appreciate your understanding if your appointment needs to be moved.

If you’re happy to rearrange your dog’s appointment before we contact you, please give us a call on 0117 960 8411 or send us a message through our page.

🐾 A few tips to help keep your dog safe in the heat:
• Avoid walks during the heat.
• Make sure plenty of fresh water is always available.
• Provide cool, shaded areas to rest.
• Cooling mats, damp towels and paddling pools can help them stay comfortable.
• Never leave your dog in a parked car, even for a few minutes.

☀️ We hope everyone is keeping cool during this heatwave – even the ponies are enjoying a hose down! 🐴💦

A few simple ways to help keep your pooch comfortable in the hot weather:

💧 Plenty of fresh, cool water
🧊 Ice cubes in water bowls
🛏️ Cooling mats
🧺 Damp towels to lie on
💦 Wetting paws, tummy and groin areas with cool water

Stay safe, stay cool, and give your four-legged friends a little extra TLC this week. 🐾❤️

⚠️ Important Notice ⚠️

Due to the extreme temperatures forecast, the salon will be closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

This decision has not been taken lightly, however the welfare and safety of both the dogs in our care and our staff must come first. With temperatures expected to reach dangerous levels, we do not feel it is safe or responsible to continue operating during this period.

All affected clients will be contacted as soon as possible to rearrange appointments.

We understand this may be disappointing, and we kindly ask that you respect our decision. It has been made solely with the wellbeing of our four-legged family members in mind.

⚠️ Heatwave Update ⚠️

Due to temperatures forecast to exceed 32°C today with little to no breeze, we have made the decision to cancel and rearrange appointments scheduled after 12pm.

This decision has been made purely for the welfare and safety of the dogs in our care. Heat-related illness can become serious very quickly, especially during transport and while away from home in these extreme temperatures.

We completely understand that many dogs would benefit from a haircut in this weather, however it is simply too hot for them to be travelling or spending time in the salon today. Keeping them safe must come first.

Please keep dogs cool at home instead — keep them wet down, provide plenty of fresh water, shade, cooling mats if you have them, and avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day. This is far safer for them in these conditions.

We also ask that clients remain respectful towards staff. We will not tolerate rude or abusive behaviour for making responsible welfare-based decisions.

Thank you to everyone who has been understanding and supportive — we will contact affected clients to rearrange appointments as soon as possible ☀️🐾
