Many lumps are harmless, but only a vet can tell. Examination by one of our expert vets can provide reassurance and guidance on next steps if treatment is required.

Book a £25 Lump Check with our trusted team.

If further treatment is needed, we'll put the £25 paid for the Lump Check towards your treatment.

📞 Call the clinic to book or visit our website Offers page for more information and book online.

Limited availability. Offer ends 31 October 2026. T&Cs apply.

Do you know which vaccinations your cat needs, and when they need them?

Vaccinations help protect cats against serious infectious diseases and are an important part of routine preventative care. Keeping them up to date also gives your veterinary team a chance to review your cat’s health and make sure their vaccination schedule is right for them.

Our helpful vaccination guide explains what to expect and when your cat may need their vaccinations.

Say hello to Crumpet the Corgi!

Teeny tiny good girl Crumpet had her first visit to Avon Lodge Vets recently, and we thought we would show you some of the process! These first pet checks are a great chance to ask any questions (especially useful if you're new to owning a pet, or its been a while!)

We'll do a head to toe check, discuss vaccinations, neutering, and much more! It's also the perfect opportunity to find out all about our Pet Health Club plans!

Lovely old gent Stanley came in to see Nic, one of our nurses for a Wellness check recently. We recommend these checks especially in our golden oldies, to detect any signs of any problems early on.

What does it involve?
For £95, a full nose to tail health check, will be performed by one of our nurses, along with a blood pressure check, and a quick blood sample to be sent off to our external lab. If you're able to collect a urine sample ahead of your appointment, then that's also included! The results will then be reported by one of our vets.

Stanley was the perfect patient from start to finish, and was very happy to get some extra cuddles while we took his blood pressure readings ☺

If your cat is over 7 years old, or your dog is over 5 years old (giant breed dog is over 3 years old), we recommend booking in 🙂
