Please meet Marley…🖤

Marley is a young cat that has been with us a little while now and has really grown in confidence - a cheeky playful side has definitely started to shine through 🔆

Whilst Marley hopefully has a bright future ahead, his past is a bit of a shady mystery…Marley was found as a stray, sadly with his head stuck inside a lampshade! The poor chap was rushed to the vets who managed to sedate Marley and safely remove it. After recovering from his ordeal, Marley made his way to Holly Hedge.

Well Done Sophia!!! ⛰🥾👏

On Friday 21 August, nine-year-old Sophia completed her awesome challenge of climbing Pen y Fan in aid of our dogs and cats at Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary!

Sophia has raised and incredible £965…so close to her £1000 target…can you help her reach her goal?!! ❤️

"Hey, we’re newbies here!👋Our names are Jaxon and Senna! 🐾

We arrived not too long ago and have settled in well. Everyone loves us and we LOVE everyone!

We’ve even been voted the cutest duo on the block! (Okay, we’re the only duo on the block… 🙊 But we’re pretty sure we’d still be the cutest anyway! 😜)

A little bit about us… We’re two peas in a pod and the very best of friends! 💕 We share absolutely everything, including plenty of cuddles, and we’re both small enough to fit perfectly on your lap, well we seem to think so 🤭

We walk beautifully on the lead and absolutely LOVE adventures in the fresh air. 🌿🐾

❤️❤️ Happy Furever After ❤️❤️

To all my friends at Holly Hedge,

I just wanted to tell you about my recent adventures. I have been all the way to Scotland. It was a very long way and we had lots of other visits along the way.

I’ve had amazing walks up in the mountains, some of them still had snow on the tops. I’ve dipped my toes in rivers and waterfalls, and camped which was great fun.

Mum and dad said I have behaved myself impeccably and adapted so well to everywhere we went. I have sent some pictures to share with you all.

A SPECIAL PLEA FOR BUNNY 💜

Prepare to have your heartstrings tugged
Take a look at Bunny,
She’s our newest 'Golden Oldie'
And a total honey.
Found straying under bushes
And brought to us for shelter,
She’s charmed us with her gentle ways,
An absolute heart-melter.
She emanates a calming aura
Makes you feel at ease,
So sharing life with Bunny,
That would be a breeze!
This tiny little lady
With huge determination,
So deserves some luck in life
And cause for celebration.
So if you have a nice calm pad
With room for Bunny too,
She could be that special girl
Who’s just the cat for you.

Bunny is looking for a very quiet foster home, as an only pet and with someone who’d be able to bring her to Holly Hedge for regular vet visits to monitor her weight and thyroid condition. All medical costs will be covered by us. She could potentially live with sensible older children.
