☀️🐶 HOT WEATHER WARNING 🐶☀️

As temperatures rise across Bristol, please remember that hot weather can be extremely dangerous for dogs. Even a short walk in the heat can lead to dehydration, burnt paws, or heatstroke.

🔥 Here are some important reminders:

• Walk dogs early morning or late evening
• Always carry fresh water
• Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws
• Never leave dogs in cars
• Provide plenty of shade and cool areas at home
• Watch for signs of heatstroke:
Excessive panting
Drooling
Weakness
Vomiting
Collapse
