🐴 Another Horse Arena Fencing Job Completed! 🐴

We’ve recently completed this post & rail fencing job around a horse arena, giving it a much needed refresh and a strong, long lasting finish as the old fencing had become rotten and was starting to fall to pieces, so the first job was to dismantle and remove all of the existing fence

We then got to work installing the new fencing, including:
🔨 New sturdy 7ft fence posts
Boards installed along the bottom to help prevent the arena surface from escaping
3 rails to complete the post & rail fencing
And a 10ft metal gate by the corner for easy access for users

The finished result gives the arena a smart, secure and tidy boundary that’s built to withstand the demands of an equestrian environment 🐎

🪏 Another exciting project underway! 🪏

We’ve been back with the digger to get things moving, First we levelled and graded the entrance, turning the short, steep hill into a much more level and accessible route into the fields

Once the secure fencing is finished, we’ll be installing an eco-friendly wood chip footpath 🌱

We’ve also reused some old machinery tyres to create a fun agility feature for the dogs to run through, jump over and climb on! ♻️ 🐶

Finally, we dug a drainage trench to help prevent heavy rainwater from sitting on the field. 🌧️

🐴 Muck Heap Removals 💩

With the wetter winter months just around the corner, we’ve recently been out clearing a few muck heaps for local horse yards

Using a large trailer, we’ve been able to shift plenty of loads quickly, clearing the space and getting it ready for the next round of tipping

🐴 Horse paddocks cleared of dead growth, getting them ready for cultivation and re-seeding 🌱

🌳 We’ve also been keeping on top of grass margins/ feild boundary’s, controlling weeds and self-set trees to help prevent unwanted growth from spreading and taking over

🐾 Turning 🚜 tyres into tail-wagging fun! 🐶

We were delighted to supply/ recycle a few tractor tyres for The Mucky Pup Company to use in the secure dog exercise field we fenced for them last year

The tyres have now been filled with sand to create a fun, safe and interactive sandpit area where the dogs can dig, explore, play and generally get stuck in! 🏖️🐕

It’s great to see the space being put to such good use and the tyres given a new lease of life as part of a brilliant enrichment area for the dogs!

A big thank you to The Mucky Pup Company for choosing us to help bring the project together — we hope the four-legged customers are loving it! 🐾❤️

🌿 Flail topping at equine yards and a sheep field full of weeds, allowing the sheep to graze the fresh mulch and tidy it up nicely stopping the weeds spreading even more,
🚜 Pushing back a muck heap to create more space for tipping

Here is a simple but effective improvement on a driveway/ access track completed ✅
The customer was regularly getting stuck in their vehicle during the wet winter months due to it getting muddy along the track leading to their plot of land, We dug out the wheelings to a nice depth and installed stone to provide a solid, reliable surface for year round access
The stone blended nicely with the existing track, giving a natural finish with only a subtle change in appearance
Another happy customer and a track that’s ready for whatever the weather brings 👍🏻

Another fencing project completed ✅ This fence ran alongside a public footpath and was installed to safely contain horses/ livestock within the field while maintaining a strong, tidy boundary..

We installed stock netting with two strands of plain wire along the top, creating a secure and durable fence line. Access was provided with two metal gates, fitted at the top and bottom of the run for access for both vehicles & pedestrians

Another job completed over the bank holiday weekend ✅

We transformed this large area of soil for an equestrian yard, into a solid hard standing perfect for storing bales and other equipment in order to use in winter time when it’s wet and boggy, We dug out and removed all the old soil, installed a strong stone base, and finished it off with road planings for a durable surface 👍🏻
