I set more tricky challenges for you all and you all did brilliantly.

Newcomers to the league Jack and Teemo scored the highest points on the day, so watch out for them next year!!

Who's up for this??

Sniffer dog championship 2026.

To take place over 3 separate Saturdays.

You can enter each event separately, but to have a chance at becoming the sniffer dog champion you need to enter the championship which is all 3 disciplines.

Kicking off on September 26th with TRACKING. 500m course, 2 turns, 1 article on the track.

October 17th, Trail hunt. 800m course incorporating hard and soft surfaces.

October 31st, scent detection. A double blind challenge on the odour of your choice.

You will compete individually, so you will each be allocated a time for the particular event. I will try and fit you in at a time of your choice.

£25 to enter an individual event. £70 to enter all 3 and have a chance at the championship.

There will be rosettes to 4th place in each event and a championship rosette and medal for the overall winner. There will also be a reserve champion and 3rd and 4th places for people competing in the full event.

Get your names down so I can start organising 😀

For those of you that missed the last lost dog tracking workshop, can any of you do a weekday?
I have time on Monday 3rd August at 9am or Tuesday 4th at 5.30pm? Max 4 people. I'd like to find a date that you can all make, so those are just provisional and we'll see how many of you can make it.

On a more positive note (the weather being the negative note 😕) who fancies a lost dog tracking workshop? I'm looking at Saturday 18th July at 9am.

It would help if you've done one of the tracking or trailing courses, but not essential for the introductory session.
