We NEVER jump straight to shaving.
It’s always our last resort 💔

But when a coat is heavily knotted, brushing it out would be painful and unfair on your dog. Mats pull on the skin, trap moisture, and can even cause sores underneath.

Sometimes the kindest thing we can do… is start fresh ✂️

If you want to avoid this happening, regular brushing at home + consistent grooming appointments are key 🙌

And remember — short today doesn’t mean short forever. Hair grows back. Comfort comes first 🐾
