Eddie enjoyed 10 years in a loving home until, sadly, his owner became too ill to look after him. Now Eddie's happiness has been restored as he has a new family to look after him and give him all the love he deserves. 😍
Dear Anne and team,
It’s hard to believe that we've now had Eddie for just over six months, and I wanted to share an update on how he’s getting on.
From the very first day, Eddie made it clear that he was home. He settled in immediately and became part of our family from the moment he walked through the door and it feels as though he’s always been with us. Needless to say, he has us both completely wrapped around his paw!
Adopting Eddie has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. He has brought so much joy, laughter, companionship and love into our lives, and we genuinely can’t imagine life without him now.
He absolutely loves long walks, adventures in our campervan, and exploring new places. He eats well, sleeps well, and is thoroughly spoiled by the whole family, especially his Granny and Grandad, who adore him and can never resist giving him a little extra attention.
For a senior gentleman, Eddie is very lively and full of character. He has a fantastic temperament, gets on well with other dogs, and wins everyone he meets with his very waggy tail.
He’s also become something of a celebrity, with over 1,300 followers enjoying his adventures on Instagram at .
Most importantly, Eddie is proof of the difference adoption can make. While we gave him a home, it feels as though he has given us a lot in return. We are incredibly grateful that the RSPCA brought us together and gave us the opportunity to welcome such a special little dog into our lives.
Thank you all for making this possible and for helping us find the best little addition we could ever have wished for.
We look forward to seeing you at the next RSPCA Open Day!
With thanks and best wishes,
Bernie and Sarah
