A dog attack at a dog show and how rose hydrosol helped that dog release the shock/trauma with such ease.
This is a clip from episode 20 of unruly by nature.
Do you carry aromatics around with you and if not, maybe you’re now wondering if you could?

Rose is such a powerful aromatic ally especially for reducing adrenaline, helping release shock and trauma. I’d never be without it.

I can still feel her today. I can still connect with her and sense her energy. Even though she died 16 years ago. The love, the emotions, the memories, the stories, they’re part of me and her. I see her when I look at my current girl Darcy. As everything I do now is because of Sophie. I didn’t do things wrong then. I just was where I was in my journey. The guilt I carried for years has gone. It’s healed. Because of all the conversations I’ve had with her since. All the mind expanding and mind blowing messages I’ve passed on from animals in spirit to their grieving people, from living animals about how they’re experiencing life, the love, the messy painful feelings they’ve shared together. It’s the glue. All of it is part of life with these beings. These intelligent sovereign honest funny kind strong beings we get to share life with.
Every session I hold carries something of sophie in it. Because she was the first one who told me the most important skill is to listen.
So I’m here. Listening. Witnessing with you. Sharing for you.
If you’d like me to be that bridge for you and your best friend, save this, share it, dm me when you’re ready.

Last night I grabbed a bubble bath from the corner shop. In the bath I thought “this smells so familiar” but couldn’t quite place it.
Went to sleep then in the early hours I dreamt of my grandparents who are both in spirit. My gran used to bathe me as a kid using the exact same scent. All those emotions and memories came flooding through while my thinking mind was resting.
Our sense of smell is a POWERFUL bridge. It’s the only sense that bypasses the thalamus and travels directly to the amygdala, the emotional centre of the brain. No filter. Straight into memory. Straight into feeling.
I messaged my mum in the morning and told her I’d been dreaming of her parents.
She said, “ I was just thinking of you when your message arrived.” Of course she was.
Because we’re ALWAYS connected. To everything. To our loved ones, living and in spirit, our ancestors, our animals, the rest of nature, the stars…I could go on. But our mad busy lives distract us away from being in that grounded deep connected centre and it can take work, practice to remember how to be there.
Scent is one of the best ways to get there. Like in a time machine. Boom, right there. No thinking needed. And this is where we meet our animals. In that space. And this is exactly why I bring scent in my 1:1 Intuitive Mentorship. Because before we can truly hear our animals, before we can access that quieter, deeper way of listening, we need to come home to our own body first.
Scent does is effortlessly by bypassing the thinking mind completely and drops you straight into your senses. Into presence. Into the exact state where intuitive communication becomes possible.
If you’re curious about developing your own intuitive connection with your animal, that’s exactly what we explore together in my mentorship.

We’re excellent at doubting ourselves and second guessing with our big old human brains.
But the conversation that’s happening between us and our animals doesn’t require more analysis, it requires an open curious mind and heart.
Sidney’s experience of what they were witnessing was both enlightening and freeing for all parties. Some of it they just needed confirmation from him on what they’d been feeling and other pieces were surprising and enlightening.
But the biggest and best bit is that feeling heard, the sense of relief and pressure release in that relationship is huge. It’s like a very painful tight pair of shoes have been taken off and everything can relax and love more naturally and freely. Often behaviours will change after a communication session because we have learnt something new and might do something we’ve not done before and the relationship has changed. There is more flexibility, more connection and more understanding. Both ways! And that is felt! Less pressure, more peace and a new way of seeing.
Life isn’t always easy navigating through the ebbs and flows. But know that it is a partnership. Teamwork. They have opinions. Perspectives and ideas that we’ve not come to yet that can help us in our way.
A true best friend.

We think we take our dogs for a walk. But this gorgeous dog I communicated with had a completely different story.
When her mum came to me saying her girl had separation anxiety, her dog rejected that label immediately. She wasn’t anxious. She had a job to do and that job was getting her mum out of the house, to get her into nature, into playtime, into connecting with each other.
So many animals are doing this deliberately. They’re not just passengers in our lives. They’re partners who are also invested in helping us live a good life
Does your dog do this?

Today we gathered for the very first Animal Reflections Circle session. 🐢
A small group of open curious people wishing to expand and deepen their connection with our animal kin.

We explored our intuitive senses and hung out with a tortoise called Nitro.
Some had already played with intuitive animal communication and others, it was their first time ever!!

These messages arrived this morning and they made my heart sing:

"It was fabulous! Great interaction from all and you explained everything so well"

"Lovely calm space. It’s amazing to be there"

"Omg sooooo cool, the best 90 minutes of my week “

"Love how easy and open you allowed us to be together. What an expansive way to share a wet Wednesday"

And my personal favourite…..

"Can't believe the first image I got was a horse wildly running in a field and then you tell us she's a horsefield tortoise" 🐢🐎

When a complete beginner connects intuitively with an animal they've never met and receives something so specific, that's not a coincidence.
That's the ancient language we all embody. We've just forgotten we speak it.
The Animal Reflections Circle is ongoing and always open. Next session is Wednesday 18th June.
If something in you feels curious, you're warmly welcome.

This is isn’t me sugar coating. I’ve had animals be VERY clear and direct about things they like and don’t like, but it’s not from a mean place. It’s to help the family. The relationship. The ecosystem.
Honesty and love. Is there a better mix?

Piper was holding a vision for their whole life together, not just her own healing.
Piper is a cat who came into our session like she owned it. ❤️Graceful. Feminine. Playful. And with a lot of wisdom to share.
She’d been suffering with recurring UTIs for months. But when I connected with her she wasn’t just thinking about herself. She shared what the collective needed to hear
She took me through her chakras. As she showed me the solar plexus I felt nausea and then the word toothpick arrived.
It seemed so out of place until her mum comfirmed that she picks her teeth when she’s worried. She’d been feeling completely stuck recently.
She showed me her mum’s neck working ridiculous hours, the herbs she wanted to explore at home.
But most poignant was the immediate reference to being a ‘Byron Bay’ girl. A place her mum had secretly been wanting to move to. She described a place, long grasses, fresh air, light bouncing off water. Where all of them could breathe differently.
And she said “I’m here for all of it mum.”
Since our session Piper hasn’t had a single UTI.
And her mum has just booked to spend the next twelve months in Byron Bay.
Piper knew what they all needed. She just needed someone to listen.
If you know someone whose cat has been trying to tell them something, share this with them. Every animal has a conversation like this waiting to be witnessed.
