New bundles available this weekend

🌟📚 LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG DREAMS 📚🌟

Here at Highway Pets, we’ve always been proud to be a family-friendly shop, and over the last year we’ve had so many little people with BIG dreams come through our doors! 🥰🐾

As animal enthusiasts, there are some very special people who have inspired generations of animal lovers — people who started with a passion and turned it into something incredible. 🌎❤️

🦎 Sir David Attenborough – the legendary natural historian and broadcaster who has spent his life bringing the wonders of wildlife and the natural world into our homes, inspiring millions to care about our planet. 🌍🦋

🐊 Steve Irwin – the much-loved "Crocodile Hunter", who dedicated his life to wildlife conservation, education and getting people excited about animals. His passion was infectious! 🐊❤️

🐒 Jane Goodall – the pioneering primatologist who transformed our understanding of chimpanzees and has dedicated her life to animal welfare, conservation and protecting our planet. 🐵🌿

And now your little star can discover their stories for themselves! ⭐

Our Little People, BIG DREAMS books follow these incredible people from their childhood, showing how their dreams, passions and determination helped them become the people we know and love today.

Because every big dream starts somewhere… and sometimes it starts with a little person who simply LOVES animals. 🥹❤️

📚 Books – £9.99 each
🧸 Plushies – £7 each or 2 for £10
📚🧸 Book + Plushie bundle – just £15!

The perfect little treat for the budding zoologist, wildlife lover, explorer or simply any little one with a BIG imagination. 🌟

Pop into Highway Pets and let your little star choose their next adventure! 🐾📖✨

🐍✨ ROYAL PYTHONS AT HIGHWAY PETS! ✨🐍

We've got some absolutely STUNNING royals in the shop at the moment and trust us, they're definitely worth coming in to see! 😍💚

Royal pythons, also known as ball pythons, are one of the most popular pet snakes for a reason!

🐍 Why do royals make such great pets?

💚 Beautiful colours and patterns – from classic markings to some absolutely incredible morphs, there's so much variety!

🐍 Usually gentle by nature – with calm, respectful handling and the right approach, many become lovely snakes to interact with.

🏡 Manageable size – they generally grow to around 3–5 feet, making them a popular choice for keepers who want a medium-sized snake.

🌙 Quiet and fascinating – no barking, no walks, just a beautiful animal to observe and care for!

🍽️ Straightforward feeding routine – they eat appropriately sized rodents, with feeding frequency adjusted to their age and size.

💚 With the right husbandry, they can live for 20–30 years or more, so they're a commitment, but an incredibly rewarding one!

⚠️ Like all reptiles, they need the correct enclosure, heating, hides, humidity and long-term care. We're always happy to chat through what's needed before you decide to bring one home.

🦂 BABY FOREST SCORPIONS ARE NOW IN STORE! 🦂

Our gorgeous baby Asian Forest Scorpions have arrived at Highway Pets! 🌿🦂

These fascinating little arachnids make brilliant pets for anyone looking for something a little different. They’re hardy, fascinating to watch and relatively straightforward to care for when their warm, humid forest environment is set up correctly.

🌿 Why make a great pet?

🦂 Impressive scorpion that grows to around 5 inches

🌙 Mostly nocturnal — fascinating to watch when they become active

🕷️ Simple diet of appropriately sized livefoods such as crickets, locusts and roaches

💧 Love a warm, humid forest-style enclosure

🌱 Natural burrowers, so you get to watch them display lots of natural behaviours

💚 They can live around 5–8 years with good care

✨ And under UV light, they can fluoresce a fantastic blue/green!

They are a display animal rather than a handling pet and, like all scorpions, they can sting or pinch if they feel threatened, so they’re best appreciated in their enclosure.

Our babies are small, cute and won't stay that size for long! 😍

As with all our animals, we'll talk you through the setup and care they need before you take one home.
