As part of Veterinary Nursing Awareness month we'd like to highlight the incredible work our nursing team do, who they are and what they love about their roles 🐾

Meet Pattie, one of our wonderful RVN's 🤎

"I graduated from Nottingham Trent University in July 2023. Since then I have had experience in first opinion and hospital environments, both in England as well as working a year in Australia whilst travelling🦘🐨

I enjoy all aspects of my job but have a special interest in in-patient nursing and nursing clinics as I love being able to form close bonds with my patients🩵

A special mention to Winnie, one of our lovely patients who has been coming for desensitisation sessions with me and is smashing it! She has been growing in confidence and enjoying her visits to the vets in preparation for her booster! 🥰"

🐱 FOUND 🐱

We have had a brown spotted, Bengal cat brought in to us today, that was found in the Broughton area. Unfortunately they don't have a microchip or collar and tag.

Due to the recent hot weather and the location they were found, we would like to reunite them with their owner (Proof of ownership required).

Yasmin is our patient of the day 🤎

Here she is showing off her beautiful teeth during her post operative check following her dental procedure 🦷 She was such a brave girl throughout her procedure and for her check up 🥰

Her lovely owner also needs a mention for putting Yasmin in her brilliant cooling vest ensuring she stayed cool and comfortable travelling to the surgery and back during this hot weather! 🥵👏

Meet Lucy, one of our amazing RVN's 🤎

"I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in November 2024 and have loved every moment of caring for animals and supporting their owners. I enjoy making my patients feel safe, comfortable, and loved — especially through plenty of cuddles and reassurance during their visits.

I particularly enjoy working with general anaesthetics and running nurse consults, combining my clinical skills with my love for communication and patient care. I’m very chatty and always aim to create a positive and welcoming experience for both pets and their owners. Veterinary nursing is such a fulfilling career, and Veterinary Nurses Awareness Month is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the dedication, compassion, and hard work that veterinary nurses provide every single day🩺🐱🐶❤️🐾"
