AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS ☀️🐴

With all the beautiful weather we’ve been lucky enough to enjoy this summer, it’s easy to look back and think, wow… what an incredible summer we’ve had at the yard!

We’ve truly made the most of these long, lingering days — from early morning rides to beat the heat, to unforgettable evening coast rides, watching the sun set as we canter across open fields. Those are the moments that stay with you, and I’m sure many of them will live in our memories for a very long time. ❤️

August has been a month full of celebrations and special milestones. From birthday carriage rides and first solo canters, to girly weekends away and reaching personal milestones in individual riding journeys, we’ve loved being part of so many special moments.

And honestly, getting to share these experiences with our customers is what makes what we do so incredibly worthwhile.

It’s been an amazing month — meeting new people, welcoming riders who have travelled from near and far to ride with us, and creating memories together. We’ve genuinely loved meeting every single one of you. Thank you! ❤️

As August comes to an end, we’re looking forward to welcoming September and everything we have in store…

Seeing something you love on social media and then turning it into reality — that’s what makes it all worth it!

How many times do we sit scrolling on our phones, watching other people live their lives and experience amazing adventures?

For us, social media has always been about showing people that you can experience these moments for yourself too.

So when we hear your lovely, positive comments about our videos — and hear that they’ve inspired you to come along and be part of the amazing experiences we have here at Sandford Stables — it honestly makes it all worthwhile.

This August, two lovely customers joined us for our Jurassic Coast Ride and made their very own memories with Sandford Stables.

Knowing that we get to share these experiences with people and create memories they’ll look back on for years to come is something we feel incredibly lucky to be able to do.

And we’re already looking forward to our next Coast Ride in September!

Barney finishing off the last lesson of the day in the school! 🐴❤️

Barney has come such a long way, from being one of our training liveries to now becoming a working livery.

Seeing him confidently walking out, working with an active trot and beautifully cantering around the school — both on and off the long-reining line — is truly lovely to watch.

He is now able to offer his experience, patience and steadiness to his rider, helping them build confidence and enjoy their time in the saddle.

We are incredibly proud of Barney and everything he brings to the team here at Sandford Stables. He really is becoming a very special part of what we do. 🥰🐴
