Today she had the best time swimming Watching her splash around, completely in her element, makes my heart so happy.

People often hear the word reactive and immediately think aggressive. But they’re not the same thing. In Ivy’s case, her reactions often come from feeling worried or overwhelmed, not from wanting to hurt anyone.

It’s a bit like us humans. When we’re anxious, stressed or frightened, we don’t always respond in the calmest way. Dogs are no different they just don’t have words to tell us how they’re feeling.

When Ivy knows she’s safe and isn’t under pressure, you get to see the real her: playful, funny, affectionate and completely obsessed with swimming. 🐾💦

Every dog deserves to be understood, not judged 🐶💖✨

From rescue girl to living her absolute best life 🥹☀️💦

Watching Ivy today, splashing around in the garden, playing in her water like the happiest little soul on the hottest day of the year… honestly melts my heart.

There was a time she didn’t know safety, play, or what it felt like to fully relax. Now she’s zooming around the garden, cooling off, living her best princess life and reminding me how resilient animals really are.

Rescue dogs don’t just get saved… they save parts of us too 💖🐶
